Cleaning supervisor and trainer — I run teams and show new starters how to do the work properly.
I supervise cleaning teams across Sydney — university campuses with GJK, gym sites in Bondi with White Spot Group, and retail floors with AFS Cleaning Services. Day to day that means allocating the work, inspecting what gets handed back, and keeping the site safe with the chemicals and machinery.
A lot of my work is floor care: strip-and-seal restoration on Kmart floors, machine scrubbing, edge work, sealing and polishing on overnight projects. I have also done deep cleans in childcare centres, retail stores like UNIQLO and Chemist Warehouse, and secure sites including police stations.
The part I enjoy most is training. Most people get sent onto a job and never properly shown how to do it, so I take new starters through the equipment, the chemical handling and the standard until they can run their own area confidently.
I started GenZ Tradies to bring that same standard to my own clients. If I have trained you or worked alongside you, I would genuinely value your honest feedback below.
